The husband and I decided to go to the first night of the Philippine International PyroMusical Competition. It was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!
We went the kuripot (stingy) route and decided not to purchase tickets. hahaha. :D tickets were priced at 1,500 (with dinner) down to 100 pesos, I think. we just didnt think it was worth it (all right, we’re just plain stingy. LOL.)
the damage?
P30.00 – parking fee
P350.00 – food
--
TOTAL: P380.00 – awesome right? :D
I guess we lucked out cause we were able to get a parking space with a great view. It was right smack in the middle of the whole show. We were barely able to hear the music, but the fireworks was so amazing, it didnt really matter. haha. :) add that to the fact that we didnt have to wedge ourselves with those who bought tickets, we were perfectly happy and comfortable in our car. :D
although I also have to say that some restaurants were selling tickets as well, and I think they’re more bang for your buck. Like with Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, we were told we can watch from their vantage point for P300/pax consumable. We almost got tempted to grab the tickets, cause we do love our Coffee Bean but we didn’t feel like eating P600 worth of coffee and pastries (stingy alert!) LOL. :)
whew, cant wait for next week. I heard it’s UK’s turn. They’re the reigning champs, so it’s probably gonna be one heck of a show. :)
sharing my fave pics for the meantime: (so sorry for the semi-poor quality. my cam wasnt up for the challenge so I had to make do with the hubby’s iphone)
